Women Enterprise Alliance (WenA) is a registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Nigeria. Whose mission is to develop world-class and diverse entrepreneurs who can meet the demands of an ever-changing marketplace in Nigeria. In collaboration with our partners, we design programs to foster job creation and enterprise development in accordance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

WenA's mentoring program offers consistent and field-tested mentorship with qualified mentors. The organization is poised to support entrepreneurs by navigating challenges and successfully growing their business.

Business Development Support Services:

As an accredited Business Development Services (BDS) provider, WenA offers a range of services tailored to the development of the Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSME).

Advocacy

WenA remains committed to the promotion of gender-inclusive economic development, mental health in business, and to cultivate an ecosystem for SMEs. WenA is an advocate for local new and established businesses by providing the tools they need to be successful.

Access to Market

WenA creates market opportunities for entrepreneurs by fostering a marketplace community. Through online and event-based networking, the organization facilitates conversations and connections.

Access to Finance

WenA facilitates access to finance for qualified businesses with our financial institution as well as potential investors.

WenA CONNECT

WenA Connect is a monthly gathering of entrepreneurs. This program is designed to foster collaborations, and collective growth within the WenA entrepreneurial community. The program creates a vibrant platform for entrepreneurs to connect, collaborate, and build a strong support network for the mutual benefit.

WenA Entrepreneurship Program

The WenA Entrepreneurship Program (WEP) is a 12-week blended capacity-building program for entrepreneurs in the agricultural, technology, and creative sectors. During the intensive program, successful applicants will learn the fundamentals of business management, learn the practical skills required to create and run successful and sustainable businesses.

WenA CONFERENCE

The annual WenA Conference aims to promote entrepreneurship, to stimulate services for SMEs, to support diversification and to create employment opportunities for the national work force. It also aims to provide a platform for SMEs to showcase their various products and services and thus promote entrepreneurship, innovation and digital economy. 

SME Stories

SME Stories is a capacity-building initiative focused on the mental well-being and emotional intelligence of entrepreneurs. The program includes storytelling sessions in which SMEs can share their challenges and meet with professionals who can provide practical business solutions. The program also includes counseling sessions, business development support consultations, and networking opportunities

WenA SME POLICY DIALOGUE

The business landscape in Nigeria is continually shaped by government policies, regulations, and economic initiatives. To empower SMEs with the knowledge and skills  to navigate these policies effectively, WenA gathers stakeholders quarterly to screen government policies and their direct implications on SMEs in Nigeria.

WenA Innovation Farming Training

The WenA Innovative Farming Training is a practical training program for female farmers and agribusinesses. With a mission to train 2000 farmers in 5 years (2027), WIFT has sensitized 500 agribusinesses on sustainable agriculture, trained 50 farmers, and funded 7 Farmers/agribusiness.

FINANCIAL LITERACY PROGRAM

WenA’s Financial Literacy Program is specifically for all our entrepreneurs. The main focus is to educate our entrepreneurs to make smart financial decisions. . By participating in this program, the entrepreneur will gain the tools and insights necessary to reach their financial goals and achieve greater financial stability.

WenA SME WORKSHOP/ BUSINESS GROWTH MASTERCLASS

WenAs tailored workshops, in collaboration with our strategic partners,  address product standardization and accreditation (NAFDAC, SON), export (NEPC, CUSTOMS, She Trades, AfCFTA), Taxation and Fiscal policies.
