Call for Applications WenA 2020/2021 Program


Women Enterprise Alliance (WenA) is a registered non-government organization whose mission is to produce world-class and diverse entrepreneurs that meet the needs of an ever-changing marketplace in Nigeria and across Africa.

WenA extends our mission to a thematically focused program in Agriculture and Technology with an emphasis on technological innovation. This program targets sustainable ventures within the agric-tech space in Nigeria.

This year’s bi-annual program will support 25 Entrepreneurs from across Nigeria to receive capacity building, mentorship, and access to finance.

During the 4-month intensive program scheduled to run from January to May 2021, successful applicants will receive lessons on business management and innovation in the agric-tech space, network with like-minded entrepreneurs and mentors, and learn the practical skills required to create and run successful and sustainable businesses.

Application window opens on December 4, 2020 and closes on December 21, 2020


 


Selection


We follow a highly selective application process on a rolling application basis. We conduct in-house due diligence to assess the entrepreneur’s venture’s compliance through a thorough application process requiring official documentation, referrals, interviews, and performance data.


Eligibility


The entrepreneur’s venture needs to be in line with our social impact policy based on the UN SDGs goals. Entrepreneurs must have worked on their venture for a minimum of 3 years and possess a working knowledge of English.

Step 2 – Provide Email Address, create password and then click SIGN UP button


 


 



 


Step 3 – Check your email to verify your registration



Step 4 – SIGN IN




 


Step 5 – Create your Personal and Business profile and then submit your business plan. We will guide you through the business plan creation process – you are not alone!


 



 


Step 6 – Try out your Entrepreneurial assessment - this will give you an idea of the support you and your business most likely requires.


Don’t forget to upload a pitch for your idea – put you best foot forward!


 


Step 7 – The WenA team will contact you to progress your application for funding support.
